Green energy means clean energy. We consciously avoid the carbon-intensive processes and pursue systems that are mutually beneficial to both environment and industry. We have created a model which implements energy-independency and self-sufficiency.
Presently, we have Green power generation through 16 windmills across Tamilnadu that can generate 15 MW to support our power requirements through captive consumption.
Our Solar Power generates 13 MW. 90% of our total power consumption is procured from Green Power sources.
We have several green initiatives and energy-saving modules in place:
- Water minimizing techniques
- Low impact dyes
- Optimize water reuse
- Recover heat from hot water processes
- Maintenance of leaks/meters/steam traps
- Improved insulation
